Texas Cup Race!

This was a good race. It started off kind of boring but a few wrecks made for an interesting turn of events. The race started off looking like Gordon was going to win his first Texas race but a bad pitstop put him back n the field. Once he made it back to the lead and on his way to winning, he hit the wall and messed up his car just enough to slow him down. Very disappointing. Jr. sure look like he was going to have a good day until he was involved in a wreck. Then he came back out in Kyle Busch's car to get some extra points because Kyle had left the track. Never seen that done before. Kurt Busch looked like he was going to get himself a win until he got caught on pit road because of a debri caution. The closing laps were pretty tense if you are a Jeff Burton or Matt Kenseth fan. Kenseth almost pulled off the sweep until Burton found a way to get around him on the last lap. My overall impression is we had another great Texas race. This place always gives great racing for the fans.

Like always, leave your comments and own opinions about the race, the more the better. Thanks!

Texas Busch Race

After yesterdays rain outs, I wasn't sure if we would even have a race today. This race was full of action from start to finish. Texas is always a good bet to see some exciting racing. Once again, Kenseth spins and somehow finds a way to have a good day. Montoya was a disappointment again. I sure wish that guy could have a good race. How about Kyle Busch? He has led every race this year but can't make the run last till the end. Some of the rookies had a hard time today, getting caught up in wrecks. I sure wish Hamlin would have got the win. Kenseth is a good driver but I am not a fan. Edwards also had a clean day. How about Reutimann? Michael Waltrip finally had something go his way. Here is the top 10 finishing order:

  1. Kenseth
  2. Hamlin
  3. Edwards
  4. Mears
  5. Ragan
  6. Reutimann
  7. Kyle Busch
  8. Kurt Busch
  9. Menard
  10. Jeff Burton
Edwards leaves with points lead with Blaney in 2nd. It looks like another Busch Wacker year in the points standings. Oh well, what can you do? Feel free to leave your own comments about the race. All responses are welcome. That is what this blog is about, reading my thoughts and leaving your own. Thanks again for reading. Nascar Rules!!!!!
